Here is a question for you:

How many people do you know who have been sexually harassed? Every one of my female friends has experienced some form of sexual harassment. Isn't that crazy? We think it's so rare, but I do not know one girl who hasn't encountered sexual harassment no matter how small or big, it counts!

Did you know 43 percent of women in the workplace are sexually harassed? Why don't we talk about this enough, it feels as though it's normalised. In order for change, the wider public need to be educated on these issues, which can be done through social media. The more people who know, the more we can unite and influence change.

We think it’s so rare because most people think ‘it doesn't count as sexual harassment’, and because most don’t think it counts that means we don’t talk about it, making it seem like a rare encounter in society!

Catcalling is a form of sexual harassment yet it is so normalised in society. Think about it, it's not that big of a deal for many. So many people I know have encountered it many times and just don't care because it's normal for them.
